No More #DiddyView. Photographers know your rights!

I had reported a few days ago that celebrity @IamDiddy had blatantly ripped off photographer Aaron Groen. The photo below is just one stunning example of Aaron’s work. The support that Aaron received from friends, family and other artists was heartfelt.

I am pleased to announce that Instagram has removed Aaron’s photo from #DiddyView. Anyone who spends anytime creating something beautiful should be acknowledged.

Copyright infringement is no joke and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Aaron says:

“I feel it is important for people to know their copyright is implied the moment they take the photo and it does not take a lawyer to take action when these pages post your work with no credit. It is a pretty simple legal form to file. You should be able to find it in the help sections on FB and Instagram.”

This is valuable knowledge that anyone who enjoys taking photos should know, from novice, to professional.

Please remember, give credit where credit is due. If you didn’t take the picture, don’t claim it as yours.
